Fire risk assessments

If your building has no fire risk assessment

Section 156 of the Building Safety Act 2022 requires that all responsible persons must complete a full fire risk assessment (FRA).

If your building has no fire risk assessment, contact the responsible person and ask them to carry out an assessment.

If they fail to carry out an assessment, contact your local fire and rescue authority.

Your fire and rescue authority is responsible for enforcing fire safety regulations and they can order your freeholder or management company to carry out an FRA.
