Lease extension valuation
Special situations
In some cases, valuation becomes more complex, such as where:
- the landlord is missing and the court grants a vesting order (the tribunal will set the price)
- the flat is jointly owned
- the flat comes with a share of the freehold
- there is a shared ownership lease
- the building is being redeveloped
- there are intermediate landlords with different interests
You should always take professional advice in these cases.
