We are proceeding under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and are unable to agree the premium or other terms. What can we do?

You can apply to the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) for them to determine the terms. This application must be made within 6 months from the date of the counter-notice. There is no fee for such an application.

Buying the freehold can be a difficult process. We recommend you get professional help from a solicitor and surveyor with experience in this area.
