ARMA (the Association of Residential Managing Agents) has announced the appointment of former Labour MP, and minister, Sally Keeble as its new Independent Regulator.
As Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, at the then Department of Transport Local Government and the Regions, she took the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 through Parliament. Her career has also included other senior positions, including council leader of the London Borough of Southwark.

Ms Keeble will take up the appointment in November 2016 when the current Independent Regulator, Rt Hon Keith Hill, stands down after three years in the role.
