Building owners, or managing agents operating on behalf of building owners, will need to apply for the fund on behalf of the leaseholders of the building. The Government will publish the full fund application guidance, including eligibility and evidence criteria, by mid-July; and it expects that the formal application process to begin by late summer.
To encourage pace there is likely to be a time limit on applications.
