The Leasehold Advisory Service (LEASE) is pleased to announce the launch of the LEASE Buildings Insurance Survey, aimed at gathering critical insights into the factors influencing buildings insurance costs for residential multi-occupancy buildings. The survey also seeks to assess the initial impact of the Fire Safety Reinsurance Facility on insurance premiums and coverage.
This initiative has been developed with the support and collaboration of key stakeholders, including, the End Our Cladding Scandal (EOCS) campaign, managing agents, officials and building safety experts. Their combined expertise has been instrumental in shaping the survey to ensure it captures the most relevant and pressing concerns of leaseholders and those managing residential properties.
Survey Details
The survey will be distributed widely across networks of leaseholders, property managing agents, and other stakeholders in the residential property sector. The feedback gathered will play a pivotal role in informing future policy recommendations and actions aimed at improving the affordability and accessibility of buildings insurance, while also enhancing fire safety measures.
Why This Matters
The rising cost of buildings insurance and the implications of the Fire Safety Reinsurance Facility have become significant concerns for leaseholders and managing agents alike. This survey represents a vital opportunity for those affected to share their experiences and contribute to a broader understanding of the challenges they face.

We strongly encourage all relevant parties to participate in this survey and make their voices heard. The findings will provide invaluable data that will help shape the future landscape of buildings insurance and fire safety regulations.
