User FAQs

Does owning a share of the freehold mean that I no longer have to renew my lease? If not, would renewal be free?

Even though you own a share of the freehold of the building, you will still be a leaseholder of your flat and so it may be desirable to extend the lease. Generally when leaseholders collectively purchase the freeholder they will agree to grant themselves lease extensions without paying a premium. There may still be legal costs involved.
